Strong Words is dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a dynamic and passionate way to all sections of the community.
The group is made up of ex:- bouncers, Bodybuilders, Drug Users, Drug dealers, alcohol abusers etc who having surrendered their lives to Christ Jesus, turned their back on their pasts.
They now share a vision to evangelise using their experiences and testimonies with the hope of helping others as they have found that the message of hope in Jesus Christ has no limits and reaches people from all backgrounds and age groups.
Strong Words mainly travel throughout the UK and Ireland performing dynamic powerlifting demonstrations as a platform for telling their amazing stories using their own equipment. The weights act as a common denominator among the group members, with most members having had backgrounds in bodybuilding and powerlifting. In this vibrant way, the Christian faith is presented to some people who would not otherwise come into contact or possibly have had any previous interest with the Word of God..
Strong Words operate in various cross community environments throughout UK Northern and Southern Ireland. Groups addressed include schools, community centres, rehabilitation centres, prisons and church groups.
